| In the heart of the land of the
volcanoes, at 1036m elevation, the Lake of Landie was born from the successive action of
the volcanoes and the glaciers. |
| The lake has an area of 36ha and a depth of
20m, on an exceptional site, preserved from civilization ; (on its
perimeter of 2km, no road, no electrical pole), the Lake of La Landie is naturally perfect
for trouts and flyfishing. |
 |
| In addition to the locals brown trouts (record
9kg), the clear water of the lake shelters, since 1991, a large population of
great sporting fish : Steelhead, Kamloops, Jumper and Bröding (hybrid salmon and
char). |
 |
| The minimum size was maintained since the origin
at 50cm (20") and many fish between 3 to 8kg are captured each
year. The installations were thought by and for flyfishermen , the port shelters 12 boats
equiped with nonpolluting, quiet electric motors , several piers allow fishing from
the bank . |
